Linc 182

Linc 182

Bloomington, IL

Linc 182 is a new and exciting acapella ensemble, mostly versed in the barbershop style of singing.  Linc 182 began as a virtual quartet during the pandemic as a musical outlet for their 8 year old (at the time) tenor singer.  They recently won the 2023 Illinois District State Barbershop Quartet Contest and qualified/competed at the 2024 International Quartet Contest.  Although fairly new, this quartet is full of experienced musicians, well at least 3/4 full.  The older members of the quartet have won multiple Illinois District barbershop quartet championships, competed Internationally, as well as won chorus championships with the award winning Sound of Illinois Chorus, located in Bloomington, Normal.  The Linc part of the quartet is 14 year old tenor, Lincoln Beutel, who is the son of the baritone, Tim Beutel.  Bass singer, Ben Light, is the brother in law of Tim as well.  And then there is Evan.  He sings the lead part and is not related to the other three at all, but we love him anyway.  We hope you enjoy the rich harmonies and spritely energy of Linc 182!

THUMMp

THUMMp

Milford, MI

Once, the most renowned a cappella group in the Midwest captivated the community of Milford, MI.  From 1998 to 2010, elmoTHUMM mesmerized audiences with their dynamic sound, intricate arrangements, and vibrant energy, earning numerous accolades, performing for dignitaries like the President of the United States, and television appearances including America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. However, by 2010, differing personal aspirations led to the group’s disbandment.

Now, Greg, Jason, Ed, and Tre have reunited under the new name THUMMp, reigniting their passion for music.
